Shit I know. But I made another soup.

1 leek
2 red potatoes (you don’t have to peel them)
1 carrot
2 cobs of cooked corn (whatever that is)
oil, garlic, salt, paprika
3 cups of water

same deal
coarsely cut leek, carrot, and corn off the cob
cube the potatoes
sauté leek and carrot until slightly tender in oil
cover with water
add potatoes and corn and seasoning
bring to a boil and then lower the temp until the potatoes cook
scoop a little under half out and blend with hand blender
recombine with soup
serve

This is so good, and I just made it up!

Green and Red Fiesta Sammich

2 slices of whole grain bread (i keep mine in the freezer)
1/2 can green chile (already diced)
1/2 large avocado or one small avocado
1/2 half plum tomato (unless you like a lot of tomato)
swiss cheese slices
salt (opt)
lime (opt)

prep:
slice avocado lengthwise, separate, cut thin slices with your knife down the middle

set oven to 400 F, or set toaster oven to dark toast

spread green chile evenly on bread, thin layer so the bread doesn’t sog up

put the cheese on top

toast/oven…come on, you know when cheese is melted..remove

put on tomato and squish it into the cheese so it sticks

take your avocado and carefully remove slices with spoon so you can maintain the shape

add to sammich, sprinkle salt and or lime and enjoy!!

When I eat my fast food I don’t really think about where it comes from, or what part of the animal it is that I am actually eating. I do not care if my fast food chicken nuggets are made out of all white meat. I’d actaully prefer it if they weren’t. Everyone knows dark meat are the juciest bits anyway. I am not sure when they changed this. Maybe I am crazy and they never really did. All I know is that I think liked them a whole hell of a lot better before.

I hated it at first but now I love Tab’s reintroduction as an energy drink. This isn’t your Aunt’s tab any more. My friend pat thinks it tastes like Lucky Charms marshmellows, but I think it tastes like…Tab Energy. It’s also good when mixed with rum. I was mixing it with Bacardi Gold last night and the Bacardi didn’t even mess with its pink color, oh yeah I forgot to mention that it’s pink. I like that it’s in a skinny can and that it’s only 5 calories. It’s the ladies own special energy drink because their slogan is Fuel to Be Fabulous (I’m not kidding). So women, or gay men, or anyone that wants to be fabulous. I won’t go so far as to put it as my desktop backround offered on their website but welcome back Tab.

Stinking banannas. This drink is almost as bad as chartreuse. If someone brings this to your party only drink as a last resort otherwise stay away. DO NOT mix with coconut rum. Stick with the brown liquids (i will acept Gin or Vodka if made with the proper drink, ie: Bloody Marys, Gin Martinis). If there are any other alcoholic beverages I should stay away from let me know.
